Diphyllobothrium latum. Egg in feces (unstained, high power). The egg of this tapeworm is moderately large (58-75 um by 40-50 um) with a golden-brown shell, an inconspicuous operculum, and a knob at the abopercular end; in some instances the knob appears to be absent.
