Coccidians

Cryptosporidium parvum. Oocysts in fecal smear (acid-fast stain, oil immersion). Oocysts are bright red and contain numerous black granules. in one corner of the field, several smaller, pale-staining yeasts, slightly out of focus, can be seen.
