This is an on-line course designed for prospective teachers or current teachers who would like to learn about the teaching of middle grades mathematics. This is a demanding course. On-line learning involves self-motivation. Do not wait until the end of the semester to begin your work. You may organize the course anyway that seems appropriate for you, but be sure to work on something in the course each week. You must communicate your progress to Dr. Engel at least once each
week. You may use e-mail, the Web Board, or the telephone. Be sure to carefully read all of the menu categories on the left. You may wish to print out some of the longer pages. Have FUN! Move the mouse on my nose, and I will wink!
