Part I.
You are required to interview a client who is a member of a different ethnic/racial group than your own.  You should reveiw the literature and locate a tool that is available in the literature to assist nurses in conducting comprehensive cultural assessments.  Conduct a comprehensive cultural assessment using the tool you have selected.  Write up your findings from your assessment in paragraph form.  Be sure to include a copy of the tool and the reference.   (Worth 50 points)

Part II.
Select one of  the following options and base your work on the assessment you have conducted and additional literature research you have done: 

               Write an analytical  process recording of the interaction between yourself and the client 
               you  interviewed. 

              OR

               Using the assessment data you have collected, write an analysis about 
               cultural factors that might influence health care decisions of this individual
               and identify implications for health promotion nursing practice.

             OR

                Create a small aesthetic poster aimed at informing others about this individual's cultural 
                group.

 You should discuss the option you have selected with course faculty to establish the expectations and evaluation criteria.  Be sure to use APA format in presenting your references.
