This is an online course.

There will be one introductory face-to-face meeting at FGCU from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 7, in RH 247. Also see Schedule for more information and please check your FGCU "Eagle-mail" accounts for additional notes from Dr. McConney regarding the course.

This overview course in educational research procedures, is particularly designed for K-12 school professionals. As such, this course has one overarching goal: to increase and sharpen your understanding of basic research concepts and procedures.

The course will emphasize practical issues related to planning, conducting, and interpreting research. We also hope to develop your interest in research related to your particular field, or to educational research in general.
