1. On one friday night, I got into a fight with my girlfriend and she lock me out of the house. I try to bang on the glass door and somehow the glass door broke,at that moment i felt a sharp cut on my left wrist but thought nothing of it. I open the door and walk inside the house. she saw the blood dripping on the floor and realize that i have cut myself. I then look at the cut and then past out immediately. The next thing knew was I woke up in an ambulance and was on the way to the emergency room. When i arrive at the hospital the nurse took a look and immediately requested for a plastic surgeon. Two hours later i went to the sugery room and was put asleep while the surgeon repair five tendons on my left wrist. I had to stay overnight at the hospital. The next day i woke up feeling weak, specially my left arm was wrap up where i couldn't move. Later on that day i was release from the hospital and have to wear a cast for two months. Two months later i went back for a check up and had my cast remove my entire left arm was disable i couldn't even close my fist. The surgeon then refer me to a physical therapist to schedule rehab for my left wrist. Fews month later my wrist was back to about 90%. After another short period of time my wrist was back to normal. I then felt comfortable again.
2. Health is known as a complete physical, mental, and social well being with disease-free. Health Status is different for each individual. Such as a different person under a same environment might feel different. For example, if the room temperature is 80 degree a person would find that a normal degree for them on the other hand I would feel that the room is very hot and discomfort.
3. Speech Therapist is one of the Health profession that i think is really interesting, because it helps others to be able to communicate with others. Communication is one of the most significant things in life whether it is mentally or physically.
4. Yes,To my opinion in every profession there shoud be a skill standard so it can separate from one profession to another. Also, for the safety of the public and when people who meet the right criteria can earn themselve a certain degree of accomplishment.
