: : : Now it's your time to vent. As a health care consumer yourself, were you ever treated unprofessionally by another health care provider (who probably didn't know you were a health care provider)? And what was your worse patient like?

: : I have never been a patient and treated unprofessionally, however I have

: : had physicians be very condesending and unprofessional in their behavior

: : because they felt I was questioning their abilities

: : when they were asked questions about their orders or

: : we gave their patients other options than the physician had.

: : My worst patient to deal with was the patients wife. The patient

: : was a middle aged man who had open heart surgery and

: : had multiple complications after surgery. She had some

: : knowledge and that made her an expert. She also felt that

: : her husband was the only patient we had to care for and wanted us

: : to jump when she said jump. She was psycho. She video taped the staff.

: : It was the most stressful case I have had to deal with.

: Peggy - that's a first. I never heard of someone videotaping health care professionals at work. I guess she was prepping for her day in court.

That was her plan. She blamed us for his failure to thrive
