: : : : : : : : : : : Since you are all health care information consumers yourself, how do you usually find out about health care information you need to know. What do you think about the different information modes of receiving health care consumer information? What's your favorite and least favorite methods?

: : : : : : : I like reading it in the newspaper, somehow it touche smy heart to hear other people life (their sickness), and if i'm really interested I usually go to the library and do some readings to further my knowledge. I also like reading magazines, I don't like reading things in journals, but overall every way is the best way to get inforamtion because everyone is different.

: : : : I think you have brought up a very important point. I have always felt that informatin that is available to the public shoud be written as if the public is truly going to read them and not written for the extremely educated people.

At the beginning of the semester they were petrified of the assignment. As the semester continued, they started learning about statistics and research. When it came time for them to review the articles, they were amazed that they now actually understood what was being said.

I think the public can be educated the question do they really want to be. That would then make them hold some responsiblity for their health
