: : : Since you are all health care information consumers yourself, how do you usually find out about health care information you need to know. What do you think about the different information modes of receiving health care consumer information? What's your favorite and least favorite methods?

: : I like my nursing journals and medical journals the best.
: : I am discovering how to find information on the internet
: : and thats pretty interesting. I also rely heavily
: : on the physicians I work with for the most accurate
: : information anf options. The least favorite method
: : is the media and nwspapers.

: I agree with you Peggy. The newspaper and media are not a reliable source. Besides they usually try to condense their stories into sound or print bytes so that it catches the eye of the reader. I do think that the news media and newspaper do serve a valuable purpose by advertising such events as Clinic Fairs which allows the public to attend and receive information.

Jonthan agree with you. Without the media advertising
our health fairs and services the public would not
be aware of the vast sevrices we offer.
