: Using the four prototypes of patient/health care provider relationships, describe some real life examples of each. These examples can come from your own work experience or if you or someone in your family was a patient. What type of relationship did you or your family member have with the health care provider?

My grandpa would fall under the paternalism, i remember when he was walking outside up north he had slipped and was taken to the ER and boy I never would thought that my grandapa not knowing any english would try and actually understand what the doctor order was and want to know how he could get out of the hospital quicker.
My aunt who is an attorney over on the west coast, she would actually have someone besides her to do everything for her, no matter what it was. My cousin who is a pharmacist, who I personally got a wrong idea of, actually was pretty interesting to see how she handles her patients when they came in to get educated about their medicines. My in law is really bull- headed and does not like going to the doctor whether he was hurt or not, even though he had insurance under Kaiser he just threw tantrum, he rather sit in bed than go to checkups.
