Hi everyone! Sorry I'm late.
1. The nursing code incorporates the four philosophy
statements very nicely. The code dicusses who we are accountable
to, the expectations of us as professionals which includes behavior
and educational competence. The code also places expectations on how we treat
our patients and to do so without regard to race, color,
and religious preference. The code also holds us accountable
for protecting our patients from unethical,illegal and
incompetent people.
2.I feel that the hippocratic oath has changed over the years to take account-
ability away from the physicians. It has lessened their
responsiblity to the public.
