I liked Peggy's comments here, she talked about staying closeby and paying more to be treated by people you know and the fact that motels, travel, food while you were travelong a distance might total staying closeby and paying more. For me, I would rather stay closeby, but if it caused a financial catastrophy I would have to think twice.
