: : : Does anyone have any examples of situations involving the Good Samaritan law? What are some legal issues involved

: : I think Marilyn has brought up on. What is the implications if you are giving first aid to a non-patient in the hospital.

: I know I would act and then think of the ramifications later, it is so automatic after so many years. But it bothers me that a lot of people try so hard to find an error. Wouldn't a bigger professional error be to turn your head a pretend not to see. Then we get back to morals and values.

I know that I would anything that I could to help the person. I would not have any second thoughts as to helping him.
The hospital now requires that all medical personnel know CPR and First Aid and demonstrate competency each year.
