: : : : If you watch Edison's Adult Continuing Education catalogs, ther are courses offered at a minimal fee that are usually 1 session that you can obtain CEU's from.
: : : Have you taken any of the courses? are they worth it?
: : Yes I have taken the radiology ones. They are worth it but they don't pertain to cardiology. Some of them apply to nursing and radiology, but there is usually a difference in the # of points allowed. A nurse taking a 4 hour one would get 4 points, where a rad taech taking the same one might get 1 or 2 points because it doesn't relate directly to the field.
: I see I think they offer that class, spanish for nursing
I took that class for spanish for nurses. I had 4 yrs high school spanish but they don't teach heart, throw up or sedation and iv's in high school! It was excellant, worth a bunch of points for nurses and you didn't have to take tests. You had to do "homework" (for your benefit) but you weren't tested. I would highly recommend it to any one nurses or not.
