1. The cost should be shared by the employer and the
health professional. My reasons are that the employer
obtains a more educated employee which is more valuable
to the company. Second, any training and education
broadens the professionals' knowledge. Third, we must
be up to date on all the latest technology so that we
can better serve our patients and customers to give
    them the best possible care.
2. Each year I attend the annual meeting for x-ray techs.
The format is in 5 disciplines: u/s, ct, mri, angio,
and radiology. Each discipline has a program that all
techs can attend. I prefer to attend meetings in all
of the specialized areas to obtain as much knowledge
    as possible.
3. MANDATORY-- a. we, as health professionals owe it to
our patients to be up to date on all of the latest
technology. If we do not attend education seminars
how can we help our patients!
    b. Also, it is the best way on knowing what other
disciplines are doing and what new advances they have
    to offer.
    c. After graduating from college in your chosen profession,
you should want to be as knowledgeable as possible
       within your field.
    d. The medical field is ever changing especially in
radiology. I have to able to answer questions about
all aspects of my field, and If I cannot, that is
not reflect well on me as a professional.
