: If the patient is dealing with a dr outside her culture she should have let him/her know about her values. However, that does not solve the problem. The dr can't let the pt go digging through the sharps container or wherever they put extracted teeth. And to give the pt back a tooth that has been in an environment that has other people's blood is certainly not an option.

Of course, you are correct. Again, I didn't get that impression that other's blood was on the tooth or that it was in the sharps container.
