Well, Marilyn. I am a Registered Nurse but my official title is Education Specialist. I, too, have seen the major cut backs and increase work load of the caregiver. This was one of the reasons, I made a conscious choice to leave bedside nursing. I didn't like the changes that were happening. But, I am not immune to the changes. My department is being scrutinized by a consultant and by March I will have to appy for a position that will be different from the one I have now.
