1. It seems to be that there are practioners who do not spend a lot of time with their patients in educating them about their illness. I think that it has to do withmost of the patients having some kind of health plan and also the cut back of their wages. Health care should be more aware of the transitions that are made even though eveything revolves around $$ all the time. It should be a factor to give information regardless of how much the patients pay and making them feel relieve instead of seeing them for 5 minutes and then passing them to someone else!
2. It is great to have an interdisciplinary health care team. To broaden their horizons is great but when it all comes down to it can one really know everything there is to know about the health care. Yes, each practitioners can benefit from one another. But, I guess I rather go see someone who specializes in one field to make it less complicated. It would just put me at ease. Who knows what the future will bring!
3. I never thought I would say this but I prefer to practice health care in the hospitals. It seems really laid back, you have several people working together beautifully and accomplishing their tasks together as a whole. It seems like a stress-free environment, but ya never know what will happen next!!!
