1. There are of course many problems facing health care practitioners today. The one I
think of first is the government regulations that seem to change daily. It is difficult for the
practitioner as well as the patient to keep abreast of all the changes. It is important for the
practitioner to be aware of the changes so they can be reimbursed appropriately for their
services. I think we tend to think of them of money hounds, but it is their (and our) "jobs"
and everyone should get paid for their work. The patient needs to be aware of changes so
they don't get stuck with an astronomical bill that could ruin their lives in trying to pay it.

2. I think interdisciplinary teams are not the trend of the future, they are here now. In
order to survive in today's economics, an institution has to rely on interdisciplinary team
work. Health care workers have to be multi-task oriented.

3. I think I prefer the interdisciplinary approach because I have seen it in action and can
see that it works. I have adapted to it first out of necessity to get things done, now as a
norm or standard of health care.
