Feedback Page

Feedback from the instructor will be posted here after each session.

Session 1 (January 10)

I am glad everyone was able to attend to the technology session. Besides being informative, everyone got to put names to faces.  I hope this session was helpful. I went over to the library after the class to try to get the reading problem settled.  Hopefully by Monday morning it will be resolved. If not, we will work around the glitch. Read the assignments on the web and the lesson notes and the other information can wait.

Session 2 (January 15)

Well, everyone seemed to survive the first bulletin board session. I hope everyone received a copy of the bulletin board ground rules. I know a few of you had problems opening the file so I saved the file as a .rtf file and resent them.  Hopefully you got them.

I want to thank you all for being patient.  We are slowly working out all the glitches. Hopefully (again), the library readings should now be accessible to you. If you are having problems, please let me know.

See you on-line, Thursday 4-6 PM.

Session 3 (January 22)

It was great to see the amount of participation and enthusiasm everyone had on Thursday afternoon participating in the bulletin board session. Like I posted on Thursday, Erping from Instructional Technology says we are the best. Keep up the good work.

I have graded your assignments and will be e-mailing feedback this week and letting you know if any assignments are missing. You do not need to e-mail the bulletin board assignments, just post your answers.

See you on-line, Thursday 4-6 PM.

Session 4 (January 29)

You are all doing a great job on-line. Keep up the good work.

If anyone had problems trying to access the library readings on Friday, January 30th, this will inform you the problem has been fixed. Someone (?) wiped out the whole class roster in the library access program. As of Friday afternoon, the problem was resolved.

Have a great week. Type to you on Thursday 4-6 PM.

Session 5 (February 5)

Again, it was good to see everyone on-line and participating. Let's all give Marilyn a big round of applause for a job well done in leading the group. Everyone will get a chance to do this. Thanks again Marilyn, especially since my computer was locked and I was late getting on line.

Don't forget about your paper on the history of your profession.  It is due on March 19th.  Please do not wait until the last minute to research or write the paper. The grading criteria is on the syllabus.

Also, enter the bulletin board through the correct date on the syllabus page. Erping has set up several bulletin boards for this class and the only way we can keep you on the right bulletin board is if you entered the bb at the weekly site.

Type to you on Thursday. Same time, same URL.

Session 6 (February 12)

Bravo! Another successful bulletin board session. And let's give a great, big round of applause to Jonathan for leading the session. Good job Jonathan!

This class has a great bunch of students and that is why the bulletin board sessions have been so productive. Keep up the active participation.

Session 7 (February 19)

Great job Roni! Everyone is doing a wonderful job participating in the bulletin board sessions. Rich Spurr is not able to join us on Thursday afternoons because of his 3-11PM work schedule.  However, he does view the bulletin board and adds his own comments to your comments.  You may want to peak back and check out what Rich has written.

Linda will be leading the next session on Continuing Education. Keep up the active participation to make the session leader's job easier.

Type to you on Thursday.  Have a good week!

Session 8 (February 23)

Again, another great job. Bravos and congratulations to Linda for leading the group! And everyone should give themselves a pat on the back for all the active participation. I hope you are enjoying this session.

Peggy will be leading the next session on Ethical Applications in Professional Practice.

Type to you on Thursday. And have a relaxing break.

Session 9 (March 19)

Glad to see everyone is back from spring break and by the responses on the bulletin board, refreshed and renewed. Accolades and applause to Peggy for doing a great job on a very difficult topic area.

Roni has agreed to lead the next session.

Have a great weekend. As soon as I grade your papers, I will e-mail your results. Type to you next week.

Session 10 (March 26)

Great job Roni for the second time! In case anyone had problems locating items about the Good Samaritan Law and Professional Courtesty, here are a couple of web-sites you may wish to check:

     Good Samaritan Laws
     Assisting at Accidents
     Professional Courtesy

If anyone wants their papers returned, you can pick them up from Cindy Stasiewski, the executive secretary for IDS. Her desk is just outside my office.

Type to you on Thursday.

Session 11 (April 2)

Thanks Nanc, great job especially with all the bulletin board glitches.

I know this session was all about stress and you have to believe me when I tell you I did not purposely plan for the bulletin board glitches. It just goes to show, you have to go with the flow.  We all survived.  Good job everyone.

Also, everyone had great ideas for relieving stress at work.  I hope you follow some of your own suggestions.  Bravo!

Type to you next week. Have a great weekend.

Session 12 (April 9)

Good job Dat! You deserve a big hand.

Hope everyone has a great weekend. Happy Easter!

Session 13 (April 16)

Thanks Jonathan for leading the session today.

Well, it's been fun. Today was our last bulletin board session. I hope you found the course informative and had fun with the on-line sessions. I must commend all of you for a spectacular job. This was my first attempt at a web course and I couldn't have asked for a better group of students. Thanks for sticking with the class and all the technology glitches.

Please stop by and say hi whenever you are on campus.

Again, I thank all of you for making this course a success.
