use MS word
use browser and search the Web
send email with/without an attachment
post a message to the class distribution list
reply to a message from the instructor
fill in a Web-based form and send in the information
send assignment to the instructor through the Web
post and reply a message on the bulletin board
logon to the class chat room and make a contribution
identify gaps in technology skills and make a learning plan

If not, practice them in the computer lab. If further assistance is necessary, ask a lab assistant to help you out.
