Seminole Religion

By Alice Snow

Green Corn Dance is and will be the traditional religion to Seminoles. We Celebrate and praise our God through our beliefs. The Baptist church is like traditional Seminole religion because they believe in God as we do. Indians have their own beliefs like white, black, and other Baptists do. The real difference between the two religions is the Green Corn Dance doesn't take place in a church. We lived in the woods, so we dance & celebrate in the woods-- in other words, we live our world & they live in their world.
